Today I did nothing. I didn't have anything on my schedule so I had a chance to work on my music. Lately I've been having difficulty finishing songs - whether it be melodies or lyrics. But after fiddling around for a few hours I've come up with an up tempo song that's a bit on the bright side.

I have the music and I was working on my lyrics and got to the fourth stanza. I need to finish the fourth stanza followed by three more that would then complete the chorus. This would have to be followed by four more stanzas that would complete pretty much the whole song! I really like this piece especially since it differs from my moody songs.

I think I am going to call this song either The Years or... The Mountain. I will have to finish this and move back to the sad piece I was working on. Keep your fingers crossed that I'd be able to finish both by the end of this week!
