On Saturday, my sister and I took our first yoga class. I made sure that it was a beginner's class as I didn't want to look like an idiot trying to hold difficult poses. A little intimidated at first, as soon as the class begun, I started to sweat profusely. Even though we were just using our bodies, stretching and breathing deeply... let me tell you it wasn't easy! Even for a beginner's class! But once I got into it, it was relaxing and it worked out my whole body. I'm not sure if I'll become a yoga addict but I'm planning on going back to the downtown studio next Saturday.
My sister, who is difficult to please, thought yoga was "AWESOME". It'd be nice to go with her but unfortunately she will be returning to Hamilton on Wednesday night. The best part about yoga is how relaxing you feel at the end of it. You relieve all your stress and you feel incredibly calm.
The day is beautiful today and I'll be going out with friends to Old Main Street. Going to pick up photography again - but I'll start by using my brother's DSLR then slowly work my way back into manual. Looking forward to the day!
