Karaoke

I finally managed to go karaokeing in Korea! When my cousin asked if I wanted to go, I couldn't get out the door fast enough. Even though it was only my cousin, sister and me, it was incredibly fun. The last time I tried to go karaoking, the plan got blotched. My coworkers and I had dinner at Spring Rolls and headed to a nice karaoke place but when we arrived, the doors were locked and we couldn't get in. Hopefully they didn't close down. Still, the fact that we had been looking forward to karaoking but failed to do so was a big let down.

The television screens used inside the karaoke place was quite big. The room itself was larger but obviously the English song selection was lacking. I don't know if it was the mic or the echo effect that was programmed in the machine... the sound quality wasn't very good. I knew I wasn't off tune but the mic/echo distorted the sound. First song of the night was Don't Cha by the Pussycat Dolls. Just for fun.

I don't know how long we were there for but time flew by. Perhaps I can go one more time before I head back to Toronto next Thursday! I was supposed to go to the museum yesterday and meet my mother's friend today but my plans have changed once again. Instead I'll go to the museum today and meet my mother's friend next Monday. I'm looking forward to seeing what the museum holds.
