Can't Sleep

It's now 3:30 in the morning. Outside, the bugs are making calls to their mates. Their calls are steady and you can hear it at all hours. I awoke after sleeping for 3 hours because of the humidity. There's no breeze, even at night. The weather is tolerable when there's a breeze. Even though it rained for the past 4 days, the heat and humidity remains the same.

I've been counting how many days I have left before my return. It doesn't feel like I've been away for over three weeks. Soon this vacation will be over. Already it's Monday here. I'm going to visit Seoul's National Museum today with my siblings and my brother's friend. On Tuesday I'll be out all day with my mother's friend. Wednesday we'll visit the palace in central Seoul and Thursday we'll have to find something to occupy our time before packing and heading over to my grandmother's house in Boo Chun.

A couple of things I have yet to cross off my to do list include going karaoking and visiting a steam room (very popular). I'm hoping to do these things with my cousin when he comes out for vacation from the military. A part of me misses the Western culture. Miss home. Miss my parents. Miss my dog.
